Apple introduces updated 24-inch iMac with M4 CPUs, Nano-Texture Glass option, and more
The redesigned iMac offers a variety of vibrant new colors, and its 24-inch 4.5K Retina display now includes an optional nano-texture glass. It also features an upgraded 12MP Center Stage camera with Desk View, up to four Thunderbolt 4 ports, and color-coordinated accessories, including USB-C.
The new iMac, starting at $1,299 with 16GB of unified memory, is available for pre-order now, with shipments starting Friday, November 8. Education pricing begins at $1,249. Color options include green, yellow, orange, pink, purple, blue, and silver. The entry model includes an 8-core CPU, 8-core GPU, 16GB of unified memory (expandable to 24GB), 256GB SSD (expandable up to 1TB), two Thunderbolt/USB 4 ports, Magic Keyboard, and a choice of Magic Mouse or Magic Trackpad.
For more power, the iMac model with a 10-core CPU and 10-core GPU starts at $1,499 (or $1,399 for education). It comes with 16GB of memory, expandable to 32GB, a 256GB SSD (expandable to 2TB), four Thunderbolt 4 ports, and a Magic Keyboard with Touch ID, along with the choice of a Magic Mouse or Magic Trackpad.
