PowerBook Duo 210
The 210 was the first PowerBook Duo. Duos are slim, the 210 weights only 4.2 pounds, but they do not include a floppy drive or many of the standard ports. Instead, you slide a Duo into a dock on your desktop which has all the standard connectors. Duos are really meant for travellers that demand lightweight equipment and don't mind leaving a few of the bells and whistles at home while they're on the road. The other major difference between the Duos and other early PowerBooks like the 100-series is the extremely small trackball, about the size of a marble. Early PowerBook users were evenly divided about the Duos, with half fiercely devoted to them, and the other half seeing only their limitations.
