The new Apple iPhone 16, details and prices for all the models

Apple has unveiled its latest lineup of smartphones: the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max. These new devices are designed to leverage Apple Intelligence, a personal intelligence system that provides relevant, context-aware assistance while maintaining user privacy.

The iPhone 16 series introduces new features such as Camera Control, which offers innovative ways to capture and learn about the world around you. The advanced camera system includes a 48MP Fusion camera with a 2x Telephoto option, essentially giving users two cameras in one. Additionally, a new Ultra Wide camera supports macro photography, while next-generation Photographic Styles allow for further personalization of images. With spatial photo and video capture, users can experience memories in remarkable detail on Apple Vision Pro.

Powered by the new A18 chip, the iPhone 16 models deliver a significant increase in performance and efficiency, supporting demanding AAA games and extending battery life. The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus are available in 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch display sizes, featuring a stylish, durable design and improved battery life. The two models come in five striking colors: black, white, pink, teal, and ultramarine.

Apple also launched the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max, featuring Apple Intelligence, larger displays, cutting-edge pro camera capabilities, stunning graphics for immersive gaming, and more—all driven by the powerful A18 Pro chip. Apple Intelligence brings advanced, Apple-designed generative models to these new devices, creating a personal intelligence system that offers helpful and relevant insights while prioritizing user privacy.

As with the 16 and 16 Plus, the new Camera Control feature provides a quick and intuitive way to access visual intelligence and interact with the enhanced camera system. The iPhone 16 Pro models come equipped with a new 48MP Fusion camera, featuring a faster quad-pixel sensor that supports 4K video recording at 120 frames per second in Dolby Vision, delivering the highest resolution and frame rate ever on an iPhone. Additional camera improvements include a new 48MP Ultra Wide camera for high-resolution photography, including macro shots, and a 5x Telephoto camera on both Pro models. Studio-quality microphones ensure more lifelike audio recordings.

The iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max boast a durable yet lightweight titanium design, larger displays, and the thinnest borders ever seen on an Apple product. They also offer significant improvements in battery life, with the iPhone 16 Pro Max delivering the longest battery life of any iPhone to date.

Both models will be available in four stunning finishes: black titanium, natural titanium, white titanium, and desert titanium.

Pre-orders for the iPhone 16 lineup will start on Friday, September 13, with the official release set for Friday, September 20.
