The Apple Watch X may highlight a new design direction for future Watch models
Apple is attempting to make the device thinner and is researching ways to change the way the bands attach to it. The current design involves sliding the bands into the sides of the chassis and attaching them with a locking mechanism, but it takes up a large amount of space that could be used for a bigger battery or other components. Therefore, the company has looked into a magnetic band attachment system, although it remains uncertain if it will be included in the Watch X. Furthermore, the Watch X will have a microLED display that is superior to the existing OLED screens, as well as a technology for monitoring blood pressure.
