Apple introduces the next-generation Watch: Apple Watch Series 7

Apple today introduced their next-generation Watch: The Apple Watch Series 7. The new 7 Series features an improved larger display with 20% more area than the Series 6 Watches, 1.7mm borders, and a case & display softer more rounder corners giving the Watch display a wrap around effect. The display is also 70% brighter indoors and can display 50% more text than Series 6 Watches. New software allows for a full keyboard and redesigned/enlarged buttons. Other new features include:

– New watches faces
– Improved durability, better crystal, IP6X certification, WR50 water resistance
– 18 hour battery life
– 33% faster charging than Series 6 with 0-80% charge in 45 minutes
– 5 new aluminum colors plus stainless steel and titanium case colors

– The new Watch lineup will start at $199 for the Apple Watch Series 3, $279 for the Apple Watch SE, and $399 for the Apple Watch Series 7.

The Apple Watch Series 7 will be available later this fall.
