Verizon is giving away free Apple iPhones to new customers who switch, here’s how to qualify

Verizon is offering the 64GB iPhone 12 and the 64GB iPhone SE both for free with new lines of service, and up to $800 off on models with more storage. Trade-in required for the iPhone 12, no trade-in required for the iPhone SE. Purchase price will be credited to your account over a 24 or 30 month period.

The fine print for the iPhone 12: “Trade-in conditions apply. Up to $1999.99 device payment purchase per phone required. Unlimited plans required. Less up to $750 trade-in/promo credit applied over 24 or 30 months; promo credits end if eligibility requirements are no longer met. 0% APR.” Note that the final total of your discount will depend on Verizon’s estimated value of your trade-in.

Alternatively, Verizon will include a free iPhone 12, 12 Pro, or 12 Pro Max with the purchase of one at full price. At least one new line required: “$799.99 device payment purchase w/Unlimited plan per phone w/ new smartphone line req’d. 2nd phone must be of equal or lesser value: Less up to $800 promo credit applied to account over 24 mos.; promo credit ends if eligibility req’s are no longer met; 0% APR.” No trade-in required.

For the iPhone SE: “$399.99 purchase on device payment or at retail price required. New line required Less $399.99 promo credit applied to account over 24 mos; promo credit ends if eligibility requirements are no longer met; 0% APR. Taxes & fees may apply.”
