Trade in your old Mac at Apple and get up to $3040 credit towards the purchase of a new Mac

Get up to $3040 on the purchase of new or refurbished Mac at Apple using their official Trade In program. Trade in your old Mac, and Apple will apply its appraised value toward the purchase of a new or refurbished MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, iMac Pro, iMac, Mac mini, or Mac Pro. According to Apple, “Answer a few questions to find out your device’s trade-in value. Then give us your device and we’ll put the value on an Apple gift card (or e-credit) you can use anytime. If it’s ready to recycle, we’ll do it for free. Trading in your device is as easy as buying a new one. We’ll give you a prepaid trade-in kit or shipping label to send it off. Or you can bring it to an Apple Store (note: this option may be currently restricted due to COVID). We’ll either give you instant credit toward the purchase of a new product or send your device on to our recyclers.”

Current trade in values, at the time of this post, are as follows:

– MacBook Pro: Up to $1530
– MacBook Air: Up to $630
– MacBook: Up to $380
– iMac Pro: Up to $3040

The fine print: “Trade-in values will vary based on the condition, year, and configuration of your trade-in device. You must be at least 18 years old to be eligible to trade in for credit or for an Apple Store Gift Card. Not all devices are eligible for credit. More details are available from Apple’s trade-in partner for trade-in and recycling of eligible devices. Restrictions and limitations may apply. Payments are based on the received device matching the description you provided when your estimate was made.”
