iPad Pro 2 To Get A10X Power, Touch Bar – Rumor

A new rumor reported this week by the Chinese language Anzhuo site says the iPad Pro 2 will debut later this month featuring the A10X system-on-chip which has been widely anticipated, and will be equipped with a tablet iteration of the MacBook Pro Touch Bar to make “commonly used functions more convenient.” The Touch Bar hasn’t been widely forecast, and will be an interesting development if it materializes. Speculatively, the Touch Bar makes more sense to me for the fullscreen iPad than it does on the MacBook Pro.

Additionally Anzhuo says Apple’s Pencil stylus will get a new magnetic stripe, and the new iPad Pro will be equipped with dual cameras that will finally catch it up with the iPhone’s camera specifications.

In size configurations, the report says Apple may release three iPad Pro 2 models: 9.7 inches, 12.9 inches, and a new 10.5 inch or 10.9 inch narrow border version of t behe iPad Pro 2 with a screen resolution expected to 2224×1668 pixels, and a pixel density of 264 ppi.

Along with the A10X SoC, built-in 4GB/6GB RAM capacity is expected, with availability of 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB data storage memory capacity versions forecast.

Pricing is expected to hold steady or even be reduced.
