Logitech’s new Logitech K380 Multi-Device Bluetooth Keyboard and Logitech M535 Bluetooth Mouse“>M535 Bluetooth Mouse, combo gives you the freedom to work, create and express yourself wherever you feel inspired and on any device

“We’re living in an era of creativity where we can capture, edit and publish content wherever we feel inspired and on any device,” says Charlotte Johs, global vice president of computer peripherals at Logitech. “In this connected and multi-device world, work is no longer bound to the office or studio. The sofa, back yard or coffee shop is the new work station, and the Logitech K380 Multi-Device Bluetooth Keyboard and Logitech M535 Bluetooth Mouse fuel the freedom to create anywhere without compromising precision and comfort.”

Logitech K380 Multi-Device Bluetooth Keyboard

The Logitech K380 Multi-Device Bluetooth Keyboard brings the comfort and convenience of desktop typing to your computer, smartphone and tablet. Express yourself on any computing platform anywhere in your home with pre-set connections to up to three devices, instantly switching among them with the Easy-Switch buttons. The keyboard will recognize your connected device and automatically re-map the keys to accomodate supported functions and shortcuts respective to the currently operative OS, keeping your typing experience familiar and comfortable.

I’m currently researching a full review of the Logitech K380, but my initial impressions continue to be very positive. Logitech has streamlined and refined the Bluetooth pairing process, making it quick as easy and the K-380 ‘board paired with my iPad Air 2 and MacBook Air with the press of a key.

The keyboard is light and compact, making it an excellent choice of portable keyboard to take along without adding substantial bulk or weight, but retaining laptop-style keyboard functionality with mobile devices. There’s even a forward-delete key! And while it’s not going to replace full-sized units as a workaday office keyboard, the K-380 is versatile, fully-featured, and comfortable enough that it can certainly be used in the office, especially when you will be switching among devices like laptop – smartphone – tablet frequently.

The Logitech K380 Multi-Device Bluetooth Keyboard provides up to two years of battery life from the two AAA batteries included, and will be available in blue or grey for a suggested retail price of $39.99 USD.

Logitech M535 Bluetooth Mouse

The Logitech M535 Bluetooth Mouse lets you create on virtually any computing device, whenever and wherever you choose. Its programmable navigation button puts control in the palm of your hand, allowing you to switch between applications, change between desktops, drag-and-drop files and images, replicate the three-finger swipe gesture that brings up mission control on a Mac computer, and bring up Task View on Windows 10. (regrettably, mouse input is still not supported by Apple’s iOS, but rumors that the anticipated iPad Pro will have USB ports provides a glimmer of hope).

The mouse is designed to track reliably on just about any surface from metal caf tables to tile countertops to your favorite study desk, thanks to a laser-grade optical sensor. It is portable, includes a tilt wheel, has a curved shape and textured rubber grips that provide lasting comfort, and it can keep going for up to 10 months on one AA battery. Offered in black or blue, the Logitech M535 Bluetooth Mouse will be available also for a suggested retail price of $39.99 USD.

By downloading Logitech Options Software, you can customize both the keyboard and mouse to enhance your experience and unlock a world of possibilities. Although they arent dependent on each other to work, the new keyboard and mouse look great together, featuring matching colors and a distinctive design.

The Logitech K380 Multi-Device Bluetooth Keyboard is expected to be available worldwide in September. The Logitech M535 Bluetooth Mouse is expected to be available in Asia, Australia, Canada, Europe, New Zealand, and the U.S. in September, and in Latin America in October 2015. Each device is sold separately.
