Dell has updated its consumer product line up, with the new portfolio including the Inspiron 5000 Series laptops, Inspiron 15 7000 Series 2-in-1, and the Inspiron 15 7000 Series performance notebook. These new devices are available with a wide range of processor options and configurable features.
“With today’s new product launches, Dell’s Inspiron brand continues its legacy of developing great devices that are easy to use, employing the latest technology to help families get more out of life,” says Ray Wah, vice president, Consumer Product Group, Dell. “Everyday computing is more fun when you can power video chats and games with the latest processors and graphics, or enjoy an immersive multi-media entertainment experience courtesy of brilliant front-of-screen displays with fantastic audio. From laptops to convertible 2-in-1s to desktops, we are delivering devices for every need at an exceptional value, empowering our customers to easily create and share content and connect with the people who matter the most to them.”
Inspiron 5000 Series Laptops: Sleek Designs, Powerful Options
The Inspiron 5000 Series laptops are available with a broader array of processor options from Intel and AMD. The 14”, 15” and 17” notebooks’ set of standard features includes sharp high resolution displays, firm keyboards, claimed “exceptional battery life,” and “great wireless performance.”
An optional touch display is available in either FHD 1080p resolution on the 15” and 17” models, or in HD (14”, 15”). Customers can also choose from premium options such as a precision touchpad, backlit keyboard and True Color, which allows users to customize the display’s color temperature, vibrancy and tone. Design details include a range of chassis color options: Beijing Red, Standard Black, Theoretical Gray, Alpine White, and Sky Blue.
Inspiron 15 7000 Series 2-in-1 PC: Affordable Luxury
A versatile 2-in-1 device with a 15.6” display, the new Inspiron 15 7000 Series 2-in-1 combines the beauty and strength of forged aluminum with upscale features and a claimed battery life of up to 8 hours 54 minutes (that’s kinda’ nit-pickily specific — why not just round the six minutes to 9 hours? – Ed.).
This 2-in-1 rotates between four modes: tablet, laptop, tent and stand mode; the latter well-suited for resting on an airplane tray table to watch movies at an optimal angle, no matter how far back the facing seat is reclined. True Color, also offered as an option for the new Inspiron 5000 Series, comes standard on this 7000 Series 2-in-1 PC with its wide-viewing angle IPS screen, and contributes to a saturated front-of-screen experience. Standard Waves MaxxAudio Pro audio software enhances the multimedia experience. Other premium standard features include a backlit, full-sized, spill-resistant keyboard. The thin sub-20 mm form factor is lightweight and easy-to-carry without conceding strength. The Inspiron 15 7000 2-in-1 supports the new 802.11ac wireless standard, providing improved range and faster downloads for better surfing, streaming and video chats.
The Inspiron 5000 Series notebooks are now available in the United States, Canada, EMEA and APJ regions and on Dell.com starting at $599.99 for the 14”, $449.99 for the 15” and $699.99 for the 17” models
