Apple Releases New $229 16GB iPod touch

Apple has released a new $229 16GB iPod touch featuring an iPhone 5-esque ultraslim design, a 4-inch Retina display, powered by a dual-core A5 chip, and with bundled Apple EarPods.

The fourth generation 16GB and 32GB iPod touch models that sold for US$199 and $249 have been discontinued, so Apple’s iPod touch lineup is now available only with the higher-resolution 4-inch Retina Display.
