Hard copy greeting cards are now the exception rather than the rule. However, a new Canada Post survey finds that 87 percent of Canadians between 18 and 24 still prefer receiving holiday cards in the mail in preference over ecards, with about two-thirds of respondents saying a physical card is much more meaningful than the electronic alternative, according to a Canadian Press report.

The Harris/Decima survey polled 1,007 Canadian adults by telephone between Oct. 13 and Oct. 17.
